Hi!
Just discovered the world of podcast.... Then I came across your show. Since then, I can't stop listening to it.
I allways thought about Napoleon as one of the bad guys, but now I see clearly that I have been wrong. I'm am proud of my country, for being allied with him. Although it went wery bad for us.
Could you tell me something about Denmarks role in the war's, and especially of the fighting that Denmark partissipating in. I know that we had som troops in the Northern Germany.
Thank you very much for opening my eyes.
The best show ever.

I have just listened to the samples on the website, and they are absolutely wonderful! There are a few kinks to be worked out with the lyrical-musical coordination scheme in Napoleon's Dream of Josephine, but it is thoroughly interesting and I greatly aniticpate the musical's completion! I shall be on of the first to purchase it when a CD is released, and I hope it comes to theaters here on the East Coast of the US!

Hi Nick, speaking as a British scientist, data is data. If Napoleon there is evidence that Napoleon was poisoned then it should be published. I am looking forward to hearing about the various theories. I personally have an open mind on this.

Glad to hear you guys are having a good time on your trip.

I came across an interesting article on Napoleon a few weeks ago that I've finally gotten a chance to post (you may have seen it, or someone may even have posted it already). Anyway, Italian scientists conducted tests on samples of N's hair and concluded that he did not die of arsenic poisoning! (Obviously if the study was done by British scientists it could be easily dismissed.) I've attached the link below.
David, as a proponent of the theory that Napoleon was poisoned, I'm wondering what you think about this?

Hello Guys,

Just wanted to say I love your podcast. I only discovered it about a month ago, and have spent my dirves to and from work catching up on the older episodes. I just finished the Waterloo episode yesterday.
You two compliment each other nicely. David has a nice narrative style, and you both have obvious knowledge of the subject. Cameron's irreverent remarks have me lauging on a regular basis, and most of the time he's dead on the money in a way only Aussies can!
